JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
3rd AE:
- Ensure adherence to company policies, regulations, and environmental standards in rig operations.
- Conduct daily inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical and marine equipment, including power plants, cranes, and drilling tools.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records in the AIM (Asset & Inventory Management) system and ensure timely reporting.
- Coordinate routine maintenance with supervisors and relevant departments, ensuring proper documentation of repairs.
- Implement permit-to-work and isolation systems, and assist with audit follow-up actions.
- Oversee the use and distribution of materials and consumables with the Second Engineer, generating requisitions when necessary.
- Verify that third-party equipment is certified, correctly installed, and properly maintained.
- Notify supervisors of any technical issues that may impact the safety or operation of the rig.
- Participate in classification society surveys for continuous machinery inspections.
