Requirements: Previous training process and experience in the field. Mechanic must be a skilful person, familiarized with any mechanic systems, diesel engines, hydraulic equipment, etc., able to improvise and solve any possible problem or mechanic failure.
Salary: 2,800 - 3,200 dollars/euros a month (approx.).
They carry out daily preventive maintenance and possible repairs of the mechanic equipment on board.
