Job Description
A leading international cruise line is seeking an experienced AC Mechanic to join its modern cruise ship fleet operating worldwide. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting HVAC and air conditioning systems to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations while providing maximum comfort for passengers and crew.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain and repair HVAC and air conditioning systems
Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration equipment
Perform preventive maintenance on cooling systems
Monitor system performance and operational efficiency
Maintain maintenance records and technical reports
Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and environmental regulations
Support engineering department operations
Work effectively within a multinational technical team
Requirements
Previous experience as AC Mechanic on Cruise Ships or Passenger Vessels preferred
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
Relevant HVAC/Refrigeration technical qualifications
Valid passport, seaman's book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong troubleshooting and technical skills
Ability to work in an international crew environment
