Job Description:
A leading maritime recruitment company is seeking experienced Able Seamen (AB) on behalf of their client to join a RoPax & RoRo ferry fleet operating across the UK and Ireland.

The successful candidates will support safe deck operations, vessel maintenance, passenger operations, and daily marine activities while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform deck operations, mooring, and cargo-related duties
• Assist with vessel maintenance and safety inspections
• Support passenger and vehicle operations onboard
• Carry out emergency duties and participate in safety drills
• Maintain safe working practices according to company procedures
• Assist officers and senior crew during daily vessel operations



Requirements:

• Valid STCW II/5 Able Seafarer Deck certification
• STCW II/4 candidates may be considered with sufficient sea time
• Valid ENG1 Medical Certificate
• Valid Basic Safety Training and Security Awareness certification
• Valid passport and seaman’s book
• Right to work in the UK required (FWP)
• Previous experience onboard RoPax, RoRo, ferry, or passenger vessels preferred
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
