Job Description:
Viking Crew is recruiting an experienced 3rd Engineer to join a Cruise Liner operating worldwide.
The successful candidate will support the engineering department with machinery operation, maintenance activities, and technical operations while ensuring safe and efficient performance of onboard systems.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assist senior engineers with engine room operations and maintenance
• Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of machinery
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Monitor technical equipment and report operational issues
• Maintain compliance with safety and environmental procedures

Requirements:
• Previous experience as 3rd Engineer onboard cruise vessels preferred
• Valid Officer in Charge of Engineering Watch Certificate
• Valid STCW certification package
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Valid passport and seaman’s book
• Knowledge of marine machinery and engineering systems
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
